Este domingo 3 de mayo a las 22 horas, aproximadamente, internos del Penal de Varones iniciaron un incidente en dos pabellones, a los que con el transcurso del tiempo se le sumaron otros. Hubo quema de colchones e intentos de fuga, ambos controlados.
Siendo las 0,45 del d\u00eda lunes 4 con intervenci\u00f3n del personal del Servicio Penitenciario y con colaboraci\u00f3n del Cuerpo de Infanter\u00eda de la provincia, se restableci\u00f3 el orden en todos los pabellones. No hay que lamentar v\u00edctimas, si lesionados que no revisten gravedad., tanto de internos como personal del Servicio Penitenciario, los que ser\u00e1n asistidos en el mismo lugar.
Sin fuga de presos, sin rehenes, ni negociaci\u00f3n solo con algunos lesionados leves finalizaron los incidentes.
